Just thought I would ask everyones opinion on what size speaker wire I should use. I have 2 JL 18w6's being powered by a PPI PC-2350, and 3 JL 12w6's being powered by a PPI PC-2150. I was thinking that 10 guage would be enough, but if you all think differently, please let me know. I also wanted to get everyones opinion on what guage to use for mid's and tweets. Just a little help would be appreciated. TIA

use 8 or 10awg on the 18's and 12 or 16 on the mid-highs.

Since you are saying I need to use 8 guage, do I need to find 8 guage speaker wire, or can I use 8 guage power wire, just won't be a zip-type cord like speaker cable? Just wondering cause I have an abundance of 8 guage power wire, but no 8 guage speaker wire yet.

you would be fine with 8ga power wire, but if you wanted to use 10 or even 12 ga for this setup you will not be hurting anything...
