Hi,
I have a 1998 Sunfire coupe. I have a 12" rockford dvc and a mtx 1502, I know this is old but it sounds great. Now when the bass hits my rear view mirror really vibrates. If i pull down a bit or just rest my finger on any part of it, it stops vibrating. Anyone know about fixes to this problem.

That's a
good thing....the mirror lets you know that the sub is working
Seriously, in my old car, where the mirror was attached to the windshield, it actually fell off a few times due to heat and sub vibration. In my car now, the mirror comes down from the roof, so it's more stable. I'm not sure, maybe you can put a weight on it of some sort. Just be careful that it doesn't pull it down off the window.

there is a easy way to elievate it.....in some cars there is a rubber stop that fits between the arm for the mirror and the windshield.....usually about 1 inch long. it will cut down the vibrations but not get rid of them. just go to a home improvement store and look around some thick walled black stiff (but with a little give, kinda like a pencil eraser) and buy a few inches (1 or 2) then you want to cut the tube just a little long so that it wedges between the mirror and the glass (but not overly tight, just snug) This will act as a shock absorber and cut down on the vibrations.......
i have seen this in some of the cars, amazingly the manufacturers do this.
Hope this helps
