I recently changed a factory installed radio in my 92 Toyota Camry to a store brought radio. There seems to be one wire left thats got no place to go. It's black and controls the dimmer for the air conditionor and cigarete lighter. The lights don't even come on for those two things. And I keep blowing fuses when I try to put it with the wire that says illumination. There isn't a specific wire from the radio for a dimmer so where do I connect this wire? Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Many radios don't have a dimmer wire to tie into your dash dimmer system. Most of the radios I've installed had only an illumination(TNS) connection. In this case I just wrap electrical tape around the end of the dimmer wire and leave it hanging. If, when you do this, your cigarette and AC lights quit working, then there is a good chance that the fuse for their dimmer is just blown. Try taping off the loose wire and replacing the dimmer fuse.
