Hi,
My car was recently broken into and my amp and subs were stolen. So, I have to pick another set of subs. The last set I had were 2 12" Memphis subs. They were pretty good, but they were more loud than good sounding. I want to get some high SQ subs. I have 300 Watts to send to them ( 150 RMS each). I know that that's not a lot, but I'm not looking to invest in another expensive amp. Thanks in advance for your advice!
Dennis

well if you really want SQ, personally i would go for MB quart they're a great sounding speaker overall, BUT, as you prolly know, that they're pretty pricey, other good choices are kicker, boston acoustics (spelling), i dunno if RF would be SQ, but they're a good sub over all...just go to the dealers of various stores and they'll tell ya..plus they can get ya good price range of what your looking at, but don't ever tell him how much you have in your account (bad mistake for me) just say your looking to spend a certain amount on a good SQ sub and go from there

I would go with a kicker comp vr. I had 2 10's and they sounded pretty good for the price. If you don't have an alarm I would buy one of those first, ha ha. I feel your pain. I have had 3 break in's. The third time I invested in an alarm so they didn't get anything. It feels like you have been raped whe you walk out and see your domelight on across the parking lot. Then you see your hard earned work and cash gone, taken by some stinky crackhead that because his welfare check couldn't cover his drug habits. There needs to be a support group for this type of thing.

I was actually considering Kicker, but I don't have the power to push VR's. If I went with Kicker, I would go with the regular Comps. I am buying an alarm first, and I am getting it in sometime next week. So far Kicker is #1 on my list, mostly because there is a Kicker dealer nearby where I can hear them first. Thanks for all the advice guys.
