I have a set of Fusion Comps 5.25 and Fusion 5x7 plate speakers do you guys think these are quality speakers, i'm thinkin of upgrading to alpine type r's but i want to know if its worth it...they sound good but i can't really compare them to anything else

have you ever heard fusion or are you just saying that because you have heard type r's because these fusion comps retail for likr 225

I have heard fusion before and they are cheaply made. they sell to retailers for VERY cheap and have much higher msrps. they arent very good.

i would also say you dont know what you are talking about. they are not cheaply made, and have an excellent warranty. i have been running a system that is basicly all fusion for well over a year now, and have dont pretty well in db drag racing. with one amp and four subs, i am #2 in ohio, and #22 in the united states, in street b. fusion is well worth the money. i am also a fan of alpine, so i have to say the same about them also.

stay away...
fusion sounds like ass...I dont consider them to a competitor in many rings, and especially in an SQ setup...you would be better off with the alpines, but even the alpines arent what I would consider a nice speaker either...
how much are you looking to spend on this venture, and perhaps I can help you make a decision you wont regret...
