i just bought some mb quart component speakers. i have a 97 mitsu eclipse. is there any special place i should mount them? should i mount them in the door or in the car? or does it not matter?

It doesn’t really matter where you mount the X over. The only thing you want to stay clear of is any kind of a power source that can cause (EMI) interference.
