I know that I had NOTHING to do with this, but I thought there might be something that I might be overlooking and I need some reassurance.  I had a crazy lady come over to get a nice little Sony deck taken out of her car and have the factory deck put back in.  In a hurry (5:30) I pulled the dash, took the Sony out and it had ALL the proper harness and plate.  I unpluged it and pluged the factory stereo in.  As I said, in a hurry, I didn't disconnect the battery so the inside lights were on for about 45min.  When done, the car would not start, I gave it a quick boost and away she went.  She called back the next day and is saying that I screwed up her car and every time she stops and turns it off she needs a boost.  I told her that either her Battery has gone belly-up or her alternator and offered to check them.  She wants to take it to her own mechanic!  I am guessing she wants a new battery and she probably had to have it boosted to get to my place!

Anything else I can do or say to get her to $%#@ - OFF?

let her tech look at it. if you did it, pay for it. if you didn't ask her how you can help her. she is a customer, if you want her buisness again, and more important you don't want her bad mouthing you all over town. how many customers will you lose that way. the customer is your buisness.

I know that the only thing connected to the stereo that has anything to do with the starting of her sar is the switched 12v source for the deck.  Her battery was either gone when she showed up, or it was on it's last breath!  I haven't had a call today. My guess is that HER mechanic told her that her battery was crap and  I didn't have anything to do with it!
