iam very interested in entering sound competions, but i dont know what kind of system i should get i am interested in alphasonik, audiobahn but i dont know which to choose from, i have a four door 2000 honda civic what shoud i do?

Firstly its all in the encloser. period...then you have to go find a place with the rules, make sure you follow them to the letter..or else you'll DQ.

I would go with two good 12" subs....not audiobahn...Kickers pump great SPL..

L5's are good priced...L7 is the better one....

COMPvr's are also good...

Use a HU that has at least 4 volt pre-outs or get a line driver that will up the voltage to 8-12 volts. Enclosure size & shape is very important for SPL as well as enough constant power going to the amplifier. Use a high output alternator, deep cycle battery, Accuvolt or capacitors to keep the voltage high on the electrical system.
