Hey, I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of the radio for a '91 Maxima GXE, no bose system. I'm trying to save my buddy some money so he doesn't have to buy a $15 wiring harness. I'm gonna be doing the install on Sunday. Please help...
Thanks.
Go spend the $ 15 on a harness and save yourself the time and aggrevation of having to splice wires in that confined space. Trust me it will be worth every penny.

Try finding the harness at Walmart. I've heard they sell the exact same Scosche-made harnesses but at a significantly lower price (more like $5-$10 than $15-$20). Even at $15 they are still more than worth the money, but just so you know they CAN be had for less than $15.
The one for that vehicle is the Metra 70-1763 or the Scosche NN-2 (or an equivalent from another company). Crutchfield sells them for $9.99 but like I said try Walmart if you're looking to save a few bucks.
Also if the antenna plugged into the factory radio has two prongs, then you're going to need an antenna adapter as well as the wiring harness. Unlike the wiring harness though, there really is no way around the antenna adapter.
