Our Blaupunkt monitor has an infrared eye for our wireless remote. The screen says press any button on the remote to continue. I press all of the buttons, and nothing. Is there any way to test a remote, I've replace the batteries a couple of times, and no help.

It's a brand new out of the box Blaupunkt TravelPilot DX-V Navigation Unit. It just came out.

Well then, smart thing to do is return it. Is this from a local store or something you ordered?? I'm assuming you installed it yourself. Either way, brand new out of the box, it will have a warranty. If it is from a local store get in touch with them and tell them the problem, could possibly just get the remote replaced.

if you have a video camera, shine the remote at it and push buttons, then watch the tape, you will see it flickering light a small light it the remote works.
