It's a great match. I'm currently running (2) 12" Power HX2's from a 1000bd (2002 model) and it quakes. The 1001bd is the new 2003 model, and should be just as good. Make sure you have (2) 2ohm HX2's though, since RF does not make a 1ohm stable amp.

yeah, sounds good to me as well. i didn't do that because i wasn't thinking ahead, so im left with a phoenix gold qx900.1 powering them. it still pounds, but i just think it would sound better with the 1001bd. oh, and if you already have the subs, and they aren't the dual 2 ohm version (which i'm using), you're gonna have to go another route like what wvsquirrel saying.
