If I run a pair of speaker wires next to a power wire, will the speaker wire have any chance of picking up noise through the power wire?

Absolutely, without a doubt. Always run power and signal wires as far apart as possible to minimize the type of electronic noise you will get through the power wire.

yup they pick up raditatied noise and you'll here this in your system try running the speaker wire's down the opposite side of your car or truck away from any power soruce's.
