Crutchfield's Info Center. It is a great starting point and you can learn a whole lot just by spending a lil bit of time reading some of the articles.

well without getting into specifics i would recommend reading the manual that came with your Alpine HU.I know that they can be a bit overbearing at times but they do actually provide some valuable information in relation to wiring you particular HU as well as some general info on the specifics of operating it. Give that a go as well as lookin at the site as suggested by "esmith69". If you are still unsure just repost us and well try to help.
