Ok i'm buying a new amp and i wanted to know which one would be best to get, money is somewhat an issue...its going to be running one amp to one sub and the subs are alpine type r 12 inch dual 4 ohm

JBL 12200.1
Alpine MRD-M500
Phoneix Gold Amp don't know which one
Any that you guys list here

Also i want to replace my 4 channel amp what is a good one i can purchase for about 400 or less off of ebay or purecaraudio...would like to keep it as the same brand as the other amps...Thanks

Try and take a look at RF.. You can get a 551s and a 551x. Both are around 399 where i work but you could look at ebay for cheaper..

well right now i've got a rockford 400s and i wanted to upgrade and everyone is telling me i will get better sq through different amps such as alpine...i'm gettin two amps..and two subs..so now i just need help on the amps..

The kind of head unit do you have (i.e. brand, model number, etc.)?

i'm running a clarion 925vd...its their top of the line unit...and i'm getting a dvh920 processor soon...i have fusino comps in the front and fusino plate speakers in the rear soon changings those to alpine...and a rockford 500 x for the mids and highs and a 400s for the subs
