I have a 2002 mustang coupe. I want to install a mono sub woofer amp in the trunk. Does anyone know how or where to run the power cable from the battery to the trunk. I didn't know if there are any cable runs, ducts etc... that would make this easier than just running under the carpet or esomething.

Check betweek the door rockers and the carpet. Usually there is a gully already there for cable runs. Or, you can use a FLEX conduit, and run them through the conduit to the trunk. I know I have plenty of rubber plugs that I can use in the trunk area, so you should have some. I used conduit on my former tracker, and was fine. You can clamp the condiut down almost anywhere with clamps or hewavy duty wire ties. When running to the engine compartlent, hook the conduit DOWN like a candy-cane so water won't get in, and drip-loop any exposed wire going onto the conduit. It sounds dumb, but man, it works great! You can get the FLEX pipe at any local HOME DEPOT or LOWES type of store. In fact, they are mostly usef for water-tight applications when running electric wires EXTERNALL.
