I bought a PG cap the other day and it didn't come with the 50ohm 1/2watt resistor. Is it possible to charge the cap without the resistor.

they say your not supose to but i have with other brands without problems, however if you don't want to chance it go to radioshack they will have that resistor. a small 12vdc light bulb will work too.
