I have an Alpine 6 disc cd changer, and a sony head unit. The cord i have for the cd changer will not fit into the head unit. Is there some sort of adapter that i can buy to convert the end of the alpine cord into a sony compatible end to make this work?

i haven't heard of any such adapter. Ones that go from OEM to aftermarket, but not aftermarket to different aftermarket. but, something like that may exist out there. My advice is to sell one of the brands (SONY) and match changer and head unit for direct connection.
