I need help replacing the speakers in a 2003 Corolla, the speakers are riveted in and i wanted to know how i can put different speakers in.

simply drill out the rivets - a 1/4" drill bit should work fine

That should be pretty easy. Are the rivets just an assembly line thing to make the install faster?
