I am currently working on a 96 Toyota camry, and everywhere I look it only lists the 6x9s in the back and the 6.5s in the doors.  Also in the doors are tweeters, and I believe that this means there is a factory amplifier.  Does that make the installation any different?  Can I leave the factory amp in?  I am installing a new amp for the upgraded 6x9s and 6.5s, but not for the tweeters.  Any help would be nice.

Thanks

if in fact it has factory amps, you'll need a harness, or interface to hook up a head unit, unless you've already done that. Have you checked to see if sound is coming out of the tweeter?...if so, buy a component set for the front and you'll be set...k?

tweeters do not symbolize the presence of a factory amplifier, i doubt a 96 camry would have one,  if you are adding an amplifier you would want to direct wire to the speakers unless you want to cut corners...

there should be no reason for you to not amplify the tweeters,
