If I hooked up and amp and sub in my car, would that void my factory warranty??

Yes and No the only warrantee that it may void might be on the factory radio and its components (amps, speakers, head unit,)

Only the parts that are directly affected will not be covered ( unless you really good friends with the service manager  posted_image ).

by law, the manufacture CANNOT void any warranties on your vehicle due  to aftermarket add ons.  I install for these dealers all the time.

the only time a warranty can be void is on the item that your aftermarket addon caused to malfunction.  In that event the dealer does not have to warranty that item, and that item only.
