Hey I'm a beginner in this and I just hooked up a 4 channel amp to power my rear speakers and my sub. The rear speakers are fine but the sub cuts off at a higher volumn. Is there anyone here that can help me and tell me whats wrong with it? Thanks in advanced.

You may want to start by checking the impedence of the sub. If it is lower than the amp can handle that will make it cut out.

What make and model are the subs and the amp
