My daughter purchased a Galant and I was gonna put an aftermarket CD player in. Whomever had the vehicle previously made a shambles of the factory wiring. Is there any way to get the original color codes for the wiring for the radio and power connections also for the antenna.

This should help you out for the radio wiring and the antenna. If not you may want to get a Chiltons or Haynes manual for that particular car. If all else fails....contact your local dealership.

hi,

i have a somewhat similar problem with my 97 Galant, i bought it 2nd hand and the battery died on me, after recharging it the radio is now asking me for a code, i tried calling the old owner but he wouldn't answer my calls, Mitsubishi on the other hand is gonna charge me $70 for this, I am very reluctant to pay for this coz i bought the car and think that is unreasonable, is there any chance you would know of the code?

im also thnking of jus replacing the unit if i can't get the old code, problem is i would need the diagram of the stock radio. please help?
