hi i've got an old eclipse cd player and i lost the unlock cd and really can't remember what cd i choosed 3-4 yrs ago, it's currently working fine in my car but i just bought a new car and want to transfer it over, but if i disconnect the battery i know the cd player will be lock. Does anyone know the steps for retrieveing the security code? i got the steps for earlier models from 5431 and so on and it's not working, i'm guess it's a different steps. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATETED

Hey man, I have the Eclipse 5442 from a few years back. I know I still have the installation manual for it. Not sure if that would help you out. But I know it has the information inside which shows about resetting and/or changing the Key CD. Please advise if you think this information would be valuable to you.
