Ok, I've never installed a head unit on a 92 Camry before, but I just finished last night, well sorta..
I got the head unit in the dash, it's pretty flush, looks good, but, I cannot get the trim bezel for the head unit on without it popping off and being...not flush...
Is there anyway without grinding any plastic down to get the head unit with trim bezel around stereo on there properly?
I "ISO" mounted the radio, no aftermarket dash kit, just mounted new stereo to oem brackets, it looks almost right since the bottom, left and right of the head unit is covered by the "U" shaped dash portion, But at the top, the head unit is kinda visible...
Don't get me wrong, when the face is detached, it looks almost OEM, nice and perfect, but with face on, it kinda sticks out, and if the trim bezel was on, it would line up nicely with the "U" shaped dash piece and be nice, sorry for the long rambling post, how can I get this right? Thanx.

I understand what you are describing, and have seen it many times with Toyotas and with Hondas. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but remove some plastic, either from the trim bezel or from the dash if you want the readio to be flush wiht the OEM opening. At least, I"VE never figured out anything else to do, that is!
