Installing a cdplayer, bought wiring harness and installed  this player. Am using a Metra 70-5511 with amplifier integration plug. Have power to unit and all seems fine, but NO sound from speakers. Reinstalled factory radio/cassette and speakers work. Have tested all wires and they have power. Don't know if this premium sound system or not. (bought used). Do I need an amplifier bypass cable?

Any help to figure this out, would be greatly appreciated. Thanksposted_image

You need to power the OEM remote trn on lead for the OEM amplifier. It's a BLUE wire on the main harness in the dash. Verify by putting the OEM head unit back it, test the BLUE wire and if it registers 12 volts at turn on this is your wire that needs 12 volts when turned on.

Thank you. Dealer gave me wrong power ends. Right connector did the trick. Have a good day and again thank you.posted_image
