I have a 2003 Chevy Avalanche. I have a ported box in the truck bed and have removed the midgate. The problem is that in the back seats the bass is horrible and in the front it sounds great. In the back you can hear everything like port noise and rattle. if anyone has a suggestion let me hear it.

What is the port made of ? If it's plastic or wood you can take a router and round off the edges if it's not already done to reduce port noise.
