My son and I were installing a new radio in a honda civic ('94) when the constant power wire touched the chassis and we lost the voltage. We can't find how to restore the link to the battery. Does anyone know where to look for a fuse or something? We're tempted now to run a new wire through the firewall to the battery with 14 ga. wire and a 15 amp fuse in line....is this okay? What would you suggest? Anyone? Thanks.

Check the main fuse under to hood ( I think it's a GREEN or RED glass top  fuse ). You can look on the top through the glass and see if the fuse is burned out. I'm assuming that you already checked the fuses in the driverside fuse panel..... but if have not make sure you check every one of them to make sure that nothing else was burned out.
