Hi, I currently have a 2003 Landover Freelander SE3 and would like to put to 10" kickers in the truck.  What I need to know is what kind of box I would need to use in the truck.  I do not want to buy a box because I can probably do a better job my self for less the cost :)  Also I could use some blueprints and plans for the box design.  This would help me out a lot guys.    Thanks for your help.

this is for a ported system:
21" x 35" x 13"
Port Diameter 4" (inner)
Port Length 16"

Vb= 3.5 cubic ft (before woofer/port displacement)
    4.43 cubic ft (after woofer/port displacement)

Fb= 23Hz

F3= 28Hz

Give this a try ... When tuning the box, cut the pipe to about 18" or even 20" and reduce from there to see how it sounds. Sometimes it may sound better if slightly longer than calculated. I've never built a box for kicker subs, so if you want, get other opinions on my design and see if they recommend it or not.

If you'd rather build a sealed box, build it to 2 - 2.5 cubic ft.

You also do not need to put a divider between the subs. especially if you're gonna wire 'em in parallel.

Here's a link to Kicker's CompVR Manual. The first section has the specs from Kicker for their recommended enclosures...
