im not sure about the full size models but i know in a 03 s10 we had to relocate the stock head unit because the truck wouldnt run proper without it installed. other than that the install was as it should be

The factory radio does not need to be retained in a 2003 full size truck. The only thing you lose is warning chimes.

Hey Karl-

I'm looking forward to installing a couple of PAC adapters in my '03 Sierra Denali next week.  I've been waiting for the C2A-GM24 to be released so I can add my subs.  I also bought a AAI-GM12 to add a stand alone dvd/mp3 player and possibly and xm receiver.  I just got the tracking number today-should be here next Wednesday.  My cousin has an '03 Sierra without the seperate cd changer-any chance PAC will be releasing an aux input for his head unit?

Thanks-

Rick
