If I get a more powerful Alternator for my car, will I need a new Voltage regulator too?

Most high output alternators will have it built in. If you get a good one that is.

depends on who the manufacturer is and what type of vehicle it will be going in.  some that are direct replacement----Ohio Generator--are built like a factory alternator...so if the factory does, their replacement will.  Some newer vehicles have the voltage regulated externally by the computer
