I would like to replace the two Bazooka el1500's (500 watt each) with a larger amp. I would like two amplifers or one larger. I am using two 18" comp vr Kickers, dual 4ohm. I am currently running each sub at 2ohms. I am trying to keep the cost down to 500.00 or less. I am currently considering a Audiobahn amplifer or a Cadence. Any ideas?

Audiobahn...maxst hit it on the head. I've used that particular amp at 1 ohm on 2 15" Audiobahn Excursions...amp never got hot, and it sounded SWEET.

Audiobahn makes killer amps. You could also look at the JBL BP1200.1
