Today I just put in some Brown bread on my trunk lid and it made a pretty big difference.  While it is alot cheaper than Dynamat, it's still a bit pricey so I did some searching on-line to see what else is out there.  I stumbled upon a brand known as FATMAT.  It looks the same as brown bread, and it's made of the same materials and thickness, only alot cheaper (100 sq. ft for $100 u.s).  Does anyone have experience with fatmat?  How does it compare to dynamat or brown bread?

Ok, so here's another question: does anybody know where to get damping material like brown bread at wholesale or reduced prices?  Thanks to bberman1, I've got a place to go for wiring (KnuKonceptz.com), now all I need is a place for damping material.

best bet would probably be Ebay

the only other way I can think of is if ur a licenced installer buying wholesale or know someone like that to hook you up

I wouldn’t substitute Brown Bread for anything else, just be glad you’re not paying for Dynamat. As far as eBay goes just make sure your getting Brown Bread and not a knock off.
