after looking at several glass mount antennas they talked about metal window tint in the glass does anyone have experience with a 99vette to know if this is a problem and what to use or do?

Check XM Fan. Those people are freaks about satellite radio.

DId an older vette. Think it was like 94 or so. What we did was put the antenna on the dash next to the window in the pass. side of the car. The guy had a convertable. Hasn't came back with any issues so far. XM doesnt suggest installing the antenna inside the car, due to reception poblems. But, where ever the customer wants it is where we install. Just have them sign a waiver stating you advise not to install there. Just a way of covering your ass. Personally I hate the glass mount antenna. Looks like a Di*k sticking out of your antenna.
