how the heck to i get that power line thru the fire wall?

its a 94 accord ex. i would like it on the passenger side...i have an opening in the firewall....but i can get to it on the onside :(....

help please.

its a 4 gauge wire by the way. its from a kit i got at walmart.....closest place for audio.

Drill out the gromet or the plastic plug with a large enough bit to get the wire through.

i dunno whats on the other side..there is a hole already there....but its blocked by something....could be the heating cooling equipment.

i wanna know if there is a hole that is wide open and at least easily acceptable to get to?

if you look on the driver side up-left of the fire wall, there is a rubber gromet, it will fit through there. this rubber gromet have a pack of wire goin through there and there if enough room, poke it through with a metal rod or something and the 4gauge will fit.

I'd do what Profuse007 says, i have a 95ex im sure its the same thing as yours, I ran it through the plug hes talking about. Just make sure to some kind of cover around the power wire in that little piece because it rubs with metal (the firewall) just in case, u can never be too safe. You dont want the wire heating up for some odd reason and touching metal.

there should also be a gromet on the passenger side, this one may require pulling apert the dash to find though. it will be easier to use the gromet on the driver side for accesability reasons but if you have the desire you should be able to find one on the passenger side of the cab.

OK...i got everything ran and hooked up, except the HU..which is a old pioneer cd player that doesnt have a power antenna wire...i have a power antenna...there a way to get it up when i turn on the radio? Only a temp solution...i plan on getting a new cd player in the future.

I need assistance on picking a decent HU....NE ideas? try to keep it under 250.  Online discount shops are good long as you have boughten from them b4 and know they are good...ebay is out...
