What size of wire do you guys recommend for the remote power wire coming out of my head unit to turn on my amps?

18 AWG.

i have a 16 guage running mine..it came in my wiring kit..works fine..although 18 guage would work just as fine..any speaker wire should work tho

18 AWG stranded will work for a signal turn on wire, sometimes you will use the signal turn on wire from the receiver to turn on a different relay then the second relay will have enough current to turn on all the amps. you want.

For a simple 2 amp. system you will not need a second relay.posted_image
