Anyone used this device from pac-audio yet?

I have an 03 Silverado with the 6 speaker bose system.  Just needs more bass...  This looked easy enough to add a sub.

https://www.pac-audio.com/products/oem1.htm#c2agm24

I've purchaced and installed this "plug and play" unit, but no sound...  I can't even get the 12V from the remote output.   The install is straight forward, ground and remote output.   If I pull a 12V acc connection, the amp powers up, but still no sound...

Any ideas?  I hate to think the unit may be defective....  anyone else had any issues?

i have added subs as soon as i got my truck but i was told at the time i couldnt put a new deck in because it would mess up my electronics so i tid a rca splice to the wires going back to my back speackers and that worked.

although i want to put in an after market deck and i know i need a special wiring harness for this to keep my electronics functioning. is that what this is? i am trying to see if i can install my self or if i need to have someone do it. this is going to be the first vehical that i havent instaled for but i bought it brand new and i dont want to mess it up.

do you know where i would find a wiring schematics for a 2003 chevy Silverado to install an after market deck?
