I am very cramped on space in my single cab truck... im running 4's in the dash with tweets for highs, and i have 2 10's in the back with 6x9's in very, and im talking very small boxes so that i can have a decent amount of space, these boxes are just big enough for the speakers and put out little to NO bass, they have great trebel and some midbass, but im looking for more from these... will it sound like crap to put the subs in a dual box with the 6x9's? i have separate boxes for the subs and this would maximize space for me... is this a option?

I don't think you will like the sound you get out of it if you put them all into a single box. Maybe if you have a single box with sperate chambers for the subs and 6x9's.

Dodges are not known for there space. How big are your boxes (air space) and were they custom made. If you are looking for just some decent bass you may need to go to a smaller driver because of the space limitations. I hate to say it but you may need to go to a pair of 8's to save space and get good sound.

As nedgeworth suggested, you can build a box with seperate enclosures for your 6X9s and it will work. You may be much happier, however, to simply upgrade your door speakers to some nice components and do not try and mount full-range drivers with your subs. That way you can hide the sub much easier without having to worry about keeping the 6X9s in a good location for sound... the reason your 6X9s sound like they have no bass now is probably because they are not designed to be in "boxes." The enclosures you have them in are probably too small. You need to know if they can be mounted in enclosurers and if so, how large.

If you did want to mount them in the same enclosure and get some bass output from the 6x9's you'd probably make the enclosure with backing just for the subs and leave the 6x9's opened. But that is a bit of work. I'd say try and loss the 6x9's and go for a nice component set up front. And either keep the 10's or move down to 8's like fuseblower suggested.
