I am planning to put 3 12" subwoofers in a fiberglass enclosure in a '97 civic.  The subs that I'm thinking about are either the Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D's or the Audiobahn Flame Q 1206T's.  These are each dual voice coil subs.  The audiobahn's are dual 4 ohm subs, and the Infinity's say the impedence is 2 or 8 ohms, so i think that means that they are dual 4 ohm subs as well... is this true?  I want dual voice coil subwoofers so that I can run the amp that I get at 2 ohms, and get more power for less money basically.   I was thinking about getting one of the Rockford Fosgate bd series amplifiers to power these three subs.  I'm not sure how all the wiring works and how to figure out how many ohms the subs and amps operate at given different wiring setups.  Could I run a mono amp to 3 dvc subs while getting the 2 ohm load from the amp?  What about with a 2-channel amp?  How would I wire either of these scenario's?

3 4-ohm DVC subs can be wired as follows for a 2.67 ohm load on your amp.

Any good mono amp that is 2-ohm stable will work well with this setup.
