Hi guys.  I have a new GM radio with theftlock, however the method of holding the 2 and 3 preset to get code, etc. does not work.  I believe the new ones learn the vehicles vin number and do not turn on unless it matches  Does anyone know an alternate way to reset the theftlock?  I was thinking there are probably certain pins you can jump/short that would possibly reset it?  If not,  I have been told the dealer can do it, I just do not want to pay them an outrageous figure if I can do it for next to nothing. Thanks in advance.

I don't want to know where you got it!

Have you tried to hook it all in and remove the neg off the battery for 10-15 minutes?
