Im installing an Audiobahn DVD player and 7" lcd in the dash of my car. I tried the mobil video forum but havent gotten many hits and maybe someone here can help. I can get it to work fine with the wireless headsets but I cant figure out how to wire it into the factory headunit to run through the stereo. Not sure how to do it without using an aftermarket headunit with an Audio input. And also is there a way to have a 'switch' to change from the stereo/headsets and maybe with a game switch for a playstation 2. I think thats all the info I can think of. Any help would be awesome. Ive seen this done before so im sure its possible. Im assuming there is some way to convert the RCA's to a speaker wire or something that runs through the switch. Please help =P

If you don’t have an auxiliary input on your head unit you will need to use an fm modulator https://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-5bACbJvpKgP/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=2&g=42500&I=020FM200S&o=m&a=0&cc=01&avf=N The modulator will convert an RCA signal to an FM radio frequency which will then be played on a set fm radio station.

Any idea where I can find a factory wiring diagram so I can find the ignition wire to tap into for power. I need to do this because the FM modulator, dvd player, and wireless headset reciever dont use any form of remote wire I need something to kill the power when I turn the ignition off so I dont have to shut them off individually each time I get out of the vehicle. Thanks

guess i should list the vehicle =P
1997 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4
Only thing ive found close is a diagram of the 95-97 suburban and im sure its damn close if not exact with the yukons/tahoes. says the ignition or "Switched 12V+" is yellow which is what I would assume but im not to keen on frying out my stuff =P
Thanks for the help

It should be a red wire in the radio harness, but always double check with a voltage meter before hooking up any power wires. If you can’t locate the Switched 12volt in the radio harness, you can tap into the pink wire in the ignition harness.
