I'm curious if and how i could change the impedence of my sub from 4ohm to 2ohm without having them re-coned. Is there anyway to use coils or some type of resistor to drop this impedence down. I need to have a 1ohm load.

Thanks Josh

Nope.  And having it re-coned won't do it either.  It is the voice coil (inside the magnet array) that determines loudspeaker impedance.  External things like coils, resisters, etc. will not change how much power gets to the sub (except maybe lower the amount of power available for the sub.)
