I know what feet are but i have no idea what gauge is can any one convert gauge to millimeters?

there is no metric conversion for gauge. It is an industry standard measurement for the thickness of the wire. If you need conversion to thickness in mm, go to your local audio shop with a caliper and ask the installer to help you out.
