have to keep the bass so low on my deck to save the speakers the subs sound like sh*t, ive tried a 6db inline high pass @ 200 hrtz but doesnt seem to help much..i wanan leave my deck bass setting at AT LEAST 0 not -10 so my amp gets a proper bass signal, but dont want my speakers to crap out on me from the bass...any other options PLEASE HELP as im going nuts. thanks tremer0ne@yahoo.ca

Do you have an amp for your mids and highs? Or are you powering them off the deck? Also what do you have your Lanzars X-overs set @ the sub sonic filter should be in between 15-20 Hz and the low pass filter should be @ 80 Hz? And what do you have the Xovers on the head and line driver set at?

i have an amp powering my rears with amp set to highpass( just to defat the whole bass problem), with my decl powering some tweets up front and my front 6.5"s

as for the monoblock, my subsonic is just about where you said, and the crossover is around 75. thats no tthe problem though. the line driver is set so that it JUST begins to clip at maximim volume( which i dont drive around at that loud)

i just want to be able to through something on the fronts to prevent 200HRTZ and down fro mgoing through.Because having the bass and 65 Hrtz selectable band on the deck turned right down doesnt make for much bass...even with a 1200W monoblock and some awesome 12's!

any help would be great, beacuse its driving mer nuts not having much bass.
