Hi, newbie here.
I'm running an alpine V12 MRV-1000 amp. I am using 8 gage wire. The amp itself has 2 30amp fuses on it. I was wondering what size fuse I should be running inline from the battery itself. Thanks

A 60 amp fuse would work just fine.

Just use the same size fuse at the battery that the amp totals up to. Since you have 2 30 amp fuses at the amp, use a 60 amp fuse at the battery
