Hello,

The truck has the two seperate units, It has the big stock radio, and the tape deck, well I replaced all this with one CD Player in the place of the tape player, works good but I want to be able to leave the big radio in place and have it so that the time will still show on the display. I was wondering how I would hook this up to do this?

Thank You,

Mark

connect the aftermarket h/u like you would normall, the stock radio will only need the three power wire. 12+ constant, 12+ switched and a ground

the clock should work like normal, how ever the stock radio will not play.

**beaware of this, the after-market h/u will also display the time as it normally would :(  **

the after marker head unit should be unaffected by the presence of the stock hu as long as everything has been transfered rather than spliced into the new headunit.

Is there anyway I can setup, or power up the unit outside the truck? Any battery I can use to power it up to see if it still works?

Thank You
Mark
