I just installed a wolo animal sounds unit in my truck and there are 3 sound selections to choose from: animal, siren, and pa system. When I choose pa system you can hear a whining noise from the siren and when I rev, you can hear it through the siren also. Any suggestions on how to stop the whining?

I'm not familiar with the system you're talking about, but in general if you hear alternator whine in an audio system, you have a bad ground somewhere.

Thanks DYohn but by badground do you mean loose, or what? It so, should I sand down the ground stop?

Yea, not necessarily loose, but not properly connected to the car's chassis. You want to sand the connection down to bare metal and make sure it is connected to the chassis, not to a mounting bracket or some such.

Thanks for the change but it still didn't work. I sanded down the chassis where the ground bolt was, but still didn't work. Does it matter that I am sharing the power point with other accessories( one power cable from my + on battery connects to a spot in the engine bay with a bolt and from there I connected several things)? Would it matter that I am running the speaker siren wire side by side with the ground and power? Hmmmmm......I think those are the only things left to consider. Any more help...?...
