Hi guys,

I am planning to install a 4 channel amp into my car system, the amp is rated at 100W MAX/CH X 4.

Can someone tell me what fuse size should i be using when placing near the battery in case the amp blow. My amp got 2 X 25 amp blaze fuse.

Thanks guys :)

you would only need like a 10amp fuse but i would suggest maybe a 16amp.

If you have 400 watts (100 X 4 channels) then you would need a 30 amp fuse. But from the fuse rating on your amp 2 X 25 it is capable of putting out 640 watts or 160 per channel. Since it is capable of putting out the extra power I would go with a 50 amp fuse.

yeah always fuse at the battery equal or a little bit less that what is in the amp, NEVER more than what is in the amp though!
