i am currently running mb quart q series seperates and a pair of rockford hx 2 10 in subs, but am going to scrap those any suggestions? i just bought a directed 1100d mono block amp as well as a directed 4500 four channel amp. I have no clue as far as where to go from here! i have a 2003 civic si (hatchback) so i would prefer to stay with 10 or 12 in subs, i have no brand preference, but i dont want to remortgane my house either. thanks for the help ahead of time.

i am impressed with the asthetics of the new polk momo line. has anybody had the chance to try them out? also dont be afraid to be specific on suggestions for system. i am an audio idiot... alarms are my thing, but for some reason they don't impress anyone unless they are trying to break into the cars i work on.

alpine has sweet component speakers that can out perform some of the best, they are the type-r, they run for $130 on e-bay, and as for subs, the type-R 10"s have tonnes of throw, and they can put out more than most average 12's, but with the tight chrisp sound of 10"s

Have to agree with the alpine from Alpine guy.. but, for components, go with the Focal.. r type subs are killer..

I've wanted to hear the focal component system. I just recently installed a Boston Pro series 3-way system.  I think it sounds great. They are high, but I think they are worth it.
