I have a brand new boss stereo in my car. There is no sound from my speakers. I am almost certain that there might be a problem with the receiver in sending out sound to the speakers. Is there any way to check/test if the problem is with the receiver? It does power up.
Thanks for a reply

what model/year vehicle is it? there may be a factory amp that either needs to be bypassed or turned on. a way to check it is take a speaker that you have sitting around if you have one...or just take it out of your door. and hook it up directly to the speaker wire outputs on the back of u boss headunit. if the speaker works, then the radio is fine and your problem is further down the wiring...like possibly a factory amp
