kenwood 600watt 2 channel. im powering two series 1 rockfords on it at 4 ohm. Bridges to 300rms, i know its not exactly 300 on 12volt system.
Just wondering if its possible to wire the sub to 2 ohm with the dual 8 ohm vc's so i can get that power.

OH, I misunderstood your question. To get 2 ohms with two 8 ohm DVC subs, wire each sub with the VCs in parallel (which makes 4 ohms per sub) and then wire each of these in parallel to the amp. This will put all 4 voice coils in parallel, and give you 2 ohms load on your amp. Like this:

Your kenwood amp must be able to handle this: it must be 1 ohm stable in stereo to make this work.
i dont have these subs yet.. i was just wondering it the kenwood can take it bridged..the kenwood isnt 1 ohm stereo stable i know that for sure.
I think ill just stick with the rockfords till i make a box for my MB quarts and have them running the same power. The SQ would be better.
Thanks for the info.
